Nondestructive Assay for Nuclear Safeguards
Dr. Alexis Trahan, LANL
Dr. Trahan is the Senior Project Lead for International Nuclear Safeguards and an R&D Engineer with the Safeguards Science and Technology Group (NEN-1) at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Her technical focus is development of detection instrumentation and analytical methods with an emphasis on neutron detection for international nuclear safeguards and nonproliferation. Alexis leads multiple technical and policy-focused projects at LANL including safeguards research collaborations with international partners. She is the Project Lead for the Nuclear Compliance Verification (NCV) program and the NA-22 Safeguards portfolio at LANL.
