Caiser Bravo is a second-year Ph.D. candidate in the Laboratory for Advanced Nuclear Nonproliferation and Safety (LANNS) at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His research focuses on the mechanical realization of a ton-scale near-field antineutrino detector. Using simulation-based techniques, he is analyzing correlations between structural components and optimization of a detector response matrix for rare event detection.
