David Bernstein

Biography

David graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He then completed his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Boston University where he developed computational methods to study the metabolic networks of microbial organisms. He is currently a Postdoctoral researcher in the lab of Prof. Adam Arkin at the University of California Berkeley. His research is focused on developing machine learning and mechanistic modeling approaches to interpret microbial genomics.
