Our previous effort with the Consortium for Verification Technology (CVT) team has found success in graduating and transitioning 59 Ph. D. and postdoc researchers in nuclear science and security! We look forward to what this group of CVT graduates achieves at the national laboratories, industry, academia, and government in the coming years.

Prof. Alex Gaser (Princeton) and Prof. Patrick Huber (Va. Tech) are featured in the APA Physics paper titled, “Neutrino Detectors for National Security”.
Detecting neutrinos offers a new way to monitor the potential bomb materials inside a nuclear reactor, but the technology’s practicality remains uncertain.
